Look out world - Rory is standing ... what next??
Today was a major breakthrough day for Rory (and daddy). Rory has been close to standing for quite a few days now, but couldn't quite figure how to keep his balance. He has been a little speed demon walking along the furniture, but today he figured out how to stand up all by himself.
Here is a little play by play of the events leading up to Rory's big success.
Rory trying hard as daddy encourages him to reach way way up to the ceiling.
Rory is almost there and is getting so excited, but doesn't quite have it yet. I love how his hands go on his head in a sort of defeat and frustration.
Then finally Rory's eyes are as bright as we've seen them as he is standing all by himself. He was so excited (as are a proud mum and dad).
Way to go Rory! Look out world - next comes the walking!
