I couldn't resist sharing these photos of Rory in his monkey sleeper. He is getting quite used to mommy having the camera close at hand for those cuter than cute moments.

Future runner or bike rider?

Rory absolutely loves his time on his change table. He is full of smiles and 'coos' and his legs start and just keep going and going. Morning or night he loves getting his little legs (now with some cute baby pudge) just a moving. This daily routine always gets his mom and dad full of smiles and giggles too!!

Our first Mother's Day

We celebrated our first Mother's Day as a family on Sunday May 9. My sister hosted a delicious brunch for all of us. It was the first Mother's Day in many, many years that we were all able to share as a whole family with my mom and dad, and Shari and her family and now our new family. It was a special day and one that we all will remember always. Rory even managed to sign his first Mother's Day card with some help from daddy.

And of course lots of photos to help us remember a few very special moments.



Very proud cousins, Aidan and Maelle. They both enjoy many snuggles and cuddles from Rory. Aidan is already taken on a very protective role and is always checking on Rory when we visit.

One Month on...

Celebrating little Rory's one month milestone. It's hard to believe how fast time is going and how quickly Rory is growing. He is doing very well and still very much enjoys his nap times.

Grandma and Grandpa

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

Rory has had a lovely first visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of cuddles and kisses were had and even some really stinky diaper changes. We all had a wonderful first visit and look forward to many more. Lindsay and I are very grateful for all the help - from rocking the little guy to sleep to cooking dinners to fixing taps to delicious cheesecakes, to just enjoying some quality time with the grandparents. We all loved the lunch and dinner dates and coffee treats, even a couple chilly walks in the park. Sadly grandma and grandpa had to go back home to Ontario on Sunday and we miss them already!
