I think time is definitely going quicker than it normally would. How is it possible that Rory is now 10 months old and is only 2 months away from being a year old?
Everyday is filled with new discoveries and new ways to get into things he probably shouldn't. Rory loves his games of peek a boo, especially in his tunnel (thanks to his cousins) - where Rory breaks into fits of giggles if he spots you while he pokes his head out of one of the ends. And not to mention when he smooshes his face against the clear window from the inside.
Meal times are always entertaining as Rory discovers new foods. He is starting to feed himself a little more, but only when he is in the mood. Pasta and cheese are his favourite foods to gobble away on almost completely independently.
Needless to say this can be a messy affair and we often find Cheerios or pasta crunching under our feet if we missed them in the after meal clean up.
Rory is definitely more mobile now and is a quick little monkey. This is what happens if we don't pull a door all the way shut. Although he does give himself away as his giggles often indicate he is up to something he shouldn't be.
But then those are the moments where he just sits back, quiet and content, enjoying the day and a walk with mum and dad. (Okay so he was strapped in and couldn't get out even if he wanted too!) If you look closely Rory is sort of feeding his first chickadee.
