Lindsay has been very busy building a shelving unit for Rory's books and toys. Linds has done an amazing job and has had some help from Rory. Every time Linds went to his tool box Rory motored his way over there just to get a glimpse at all the shiny and interesting things in 'daddy's tool box'. Rory spends many minutes of his day sitting and standing in front of Linds' tool box hoping that he would be able to use his train track to bang his way through or to try to figure out that tricky red buckle thing.
Rory is checking out dad's handy work - Rory is very thorough and interested in what dad has been working on and very keen to lend a helping hand.
"Hey daddy, all looks good from in here!"
"Come on dad, just one swing?? Mums' not looking."
Rory's curiosity continues to grow and it amazes us how he can sit and watch simple everyday things with such awe. One night Rory sat in my lap and watched Linds drill holes for 15 minutes without fussing at all. We might have a future carpenter on our hands. I'll post some photos of the finished product soon.
